From the first phone call to book these movers to the day of the move we were so impressed with the service. Matthew and laksmi showed up on time, were considerate of our home, worked in tandem and wasted no time! We had our entire home packed into a shipping container in two hours! Well done and we’ll call you when we arrive in BC!

Professional, clean, quick, and I felt like my stuff was safe the whole way. They brought mattress bags and big puffy blankets(?) that they wrapped arround the furniture.

These guys are the best! Matt and the team were extraordinarily helpful on the day of the move and were very quick. Very thorough in wrapping up furniture so there was no damage to any of our belongings. Will 100% use them again and reccomend to all.

Moved an entire 4bdr (with packing/disassembly/reassembly included) in one day (original plan was two, we had moved personal belongings and clothes ourselves and cleared the basement so it was empty/easy to load from the garage) TSMWBH did everything else, packed everything with protective materials, left it in their new proper rooms including difficult items like freezer and treadmill to the basement, absolutely incredible job, fast and careful at the same time. They have also removed all garbage left from the move on both houses and dumped it for us, saving a lot of time and effort. 100% satisfied and will use them again when needed and recommend everywhere.

Our experience with these folks was stellar. Awesome communication and coordination. The two fellows that loaded at the starting point followed the load through the 15+hr journey to destination and were careful in handling our items and stacking the truck. Had no problem allowing us to help in order to maximize the drive time and be able to deliver the next day. Great service, highly recommend.

Local moves from our Toronto branch are billed by the hour for a crew of two and a truck, with a three-hour minimum. Condo moves with a long walk from the loading dock take longer, so the floor and dock location on your quote matter. The hourly rate depends on the date, and the quote you receive is the price you pay, with no hidden fees.
2 movers + 1 truck
from$139per hour
3 movers + 1 truck
from$189per hour
4 movers + 2 trucks
from$278per hour
Hourly rates depend on the date and are confirmed on your quote. Each additional mover adds $50 an hour.
About one in five moves from Toronto in 2025 left town. The short runs to Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and London are same-day. Montreal is 544 km and usually a one-day transit; Halifax is 1,800 km and about four days. Heading west, Winnipeg is about three days on the road, Calgary and Edmonton about five, and Vancouver about six. Each route shows distance and transit time, and every long-distance move is quoted in advance. If Alberta is the destination, our notes on moving from Toronto to Edmonton cover what to plan for.

Toronto moves run from our branch at 1805 Wilson Ave in North York, open seven days a week and run day to day by branch manager Matthew. From there the crews cover the city from the waterfront to Steeles and the GTA suburbs around it.
Most buildings need the service elevator booked ahead, and many give you a fixed window and a loading dock rather than the front door, so the walk from the truck to the unit is often the longest part of the day. Our 2025 numbers show it: the average local move here came to $1,693, the highest of any city in the company, with the size of the region and those long walks from large condominium complexes behind the difference. Downtown, many streets are permit-only or carry rush-hour stopping bans, so tell us the building's rules and where a truck can legally stop when you book.
Most of it is apartments. One-bedroom moves were 22 percent of our Toronto jobs in 2025, and 78.7 percent of moves stayed local. The rest left town, most often for Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara and Ottawa.
Long-distance runs leave for Montreal (544 km, usually a one-day transit), Winnipeg (2,232 km, about three days), Calgary and Edmonton (about five days) and Vancouver (4,400 km, about six). Every long-distance move is quoted in advance, so you know the price before the truck is loaded. Routes and transit times are listed above, and the full set is on the long-distance page.
