United Way British Columbia
At Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving, our involvement with charitable initiatives reaches across communities to make a significant impact. We proudly partner with the United Way’s Community Child Car Seat Program, a crucial project that delivers car seats and booster seats throughout the Okanagan. By filling our trucks with these essential safety devices, we ensure they reach over 25 organizations in the area, assisting parents with one of the most critical yet expensive safety requirements for their children. This initiative not only enhances child safety but also eases financial burdens for families in need.
In addition to our work in the Okanagan, we contribute to the United Way’s Period Promise campaign in the Lower Mainland. Through this program, we deliver pallets loaded with hundreds of boxes of sanitary pads and tampons, providing necessary hygiene products to women and girls who face accessibility challenges. This effort is vital in promoting dignity and health, making a profound difference in the lives of many.
Our commitment extends to the heart of Winnipeg through our annual participation in the Manitoba Marathon. We donate the services of eight moving trucks and crews over four days. This significant contribution supports the United Way’s efforts in the community by saving thousands of dollars in logistics expenses. These savings are then redirected into local programs and services, directly benefiting those in need in Winnipeg. Through these partnerships, Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving not only fulfills its role as a moving company but also as a key player in supporting and uplifting communities across Canada.
