What Our Customers Say

We’ve earned a reputation for efficient, friendly, and professional moving services over the past forty years. Here's what our customers have to say about us.

We hired four movers to help us move in a shipment of boxes into a basement. Ryan, We had a large amount of boxes to move into a basement. Andrew, Megan and Leslie were upbeat and cheerful as they worked amazingly hard. They saved us money by getting the job done in less than the projected time! They covered the carpet and were very competent at helping us organize the shipment as they were bringing the boxes in. Would highly recommend this team of movers!! We have used this company in the past and have always been happy with the job done!

Moved from Brandon MB to Winnipeg , they showed up on time wrapped up all the fragile goods and loaded everything in the truck in a few hours. Next day in Winnipeg they unloaded and hooked up all the electronics and even put the feet back on the tv. The china cabinet was in perfect shape when they put it in place. Very caring and helpful . I recommend this company highly. The price was very resonable as well ! 2 thumbs up !

Moving to Winnipeg? Here’s what the city is all about!

Welcome to the capital of Manitoba! You may be pleasantly surprised by the history and the number of activities there are to do in this quaint city in the prairies.

Once you’re all settled-in, in “the ‘Peg”, you can start discovering your new city, starting with grabbing a bite to eat. Winnipeg is hub for new restaurants – if you’re craving a certain dish, you can bet you’ll find a restaurant that serves it. The city is also well known for its winter experiences, a thriving center of arts, dance, music festivals, and an eclectic club scene.

History

Winnipeg is a river city, with rivers flowing throughout the city. Two of the most well-known rivers are the Assiniboine River which flows into the Red River, eventually making their way to Lake Winnipeg. The meeting point between these two rivers is now called “The Forks” which is a public space downtown where city dwellers gather for celebration and recreation.

Things to Do

There is so much to do in Winnipeg. We’ve curated a list of some of the things that are worth checking out to help you hit the ground running when you arrive in the city!

Museums

  • Legislative Building: As you’re residing in the capital of the province, pay a little visit to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba. You can enjoy the architecture, take a self-guided outdoor tour, or book a tour of the inside of the building.
  • Winnipeg Art Gallery: The museum is home to the world’s largest collection of Inuit art. It also has work from other indigenous Canadians, Canadians, and international artists.
  • Canadian Museum for Human Rights: It explores the subject of human rights, not exclusive to only Canada.
  • Royal Canadian Mint: Every single Canadian coin in circulation iproduced here. They also produce coins for 75 countries around the world. You can take a tour to watch the process!

Arts and Culture

  • Winnipeg Folk Festival: 4-day music festival at Birds Hill Provincial Park. A lot of the festival goers camp on the grounds, but there are bus services (Festival Express) for ticket holders who wish to come and go.
  • Festival du Voyageur: 10-day winter festival which celebrates Canada’s fur-trading past and French heritage. A great few day of entertainment, music and arts and crafts.
  • The Royal Winnipeg Ballet: Founded in 1939, it is the oldest dance company in Canada and the longest continuously running ballet company in North America. You can enjoy their performances throughout the summer, they are held at parks throughout the city, and they are free!

Fun Facts

  • Winnipeg is the Slurpee capital of the world
  • Winnie-the-Pooh was inspired from a bear in Winnipeg
  • Winnipeg is only 40km away from the centre of Canada
  • World’s longest skating rink, 8.54km

As you can tell, we love the city of Winnipeg and our Winnipeg-based team members agree that it’s a great place to live. We offer our moving services to the following places: Selkirk, Stonewall, Oakbank, Niverville, Winnipeg Suburbs, and more! If you’re moving to the ‘Peg, trust our experienced, local movers to get you and your belongings there safely and efficiently.
