Prevention and Precautions

We know communication and clarity are vital to the comfort and safety of our team and our valued customers.

Right now, we remain fully operational in all offices. Health and safety is our top priority for our team, our customers, and our communities.

Measures we’re taking to combat the spread of COVID-19:

  • Dispatch will call you before the move to ensure everyone in your home does not show any Covid-19 symptoms.
  • Non-contact thermometers are used on all our movers, to ensure their safety and those of others, before they are sent to your home.
  • Movers will come to your home wearing a mask (if requested) and gloves.
  • Trucks are wiped down with disinfecting wipes after each move.
  • All offices and staff have hand sanitizer available.

It’s our responsibility as a business with branches throughout Western Canada to do our part in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As such, we are asking any upcoming Two Small Men customers who have reason to believe they’ve been exposed to COVID-19 to take the same precautions that we’re taking, and give us a call or email to reschedule your move. Our Move Coordinators are ready to assist with this.

Keeping Everyone Safe

As an essential service provider during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking every precaution to ensure that our movers are mindful of the social distancing best-practices.

Our dispatch team will also be calling ahead to go over a few basic questions to determine if there has been anyone with any symptoms related to COVID-19.

Symptoms have included:

  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Pneumonia in both lungs

If any individual in the house is known to have been in contact with someone who tested positive in the last 14 days or is already in self-isolation we must respect the social distancing requirements in place.

If your move cannot be rescheduled due to property possession dates we will ask that the affected individuals vacate the space for 72 hours before the move.

We hope you’re staying safe, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we all adjust to the preventative measures we must take for the good of our communities.
