Safety

We’re creating the best-in-industry safety program in the country so our coworkers, customers, and communities have the peace of mind that they’re safe with us. What safety means to us:

  • Our industry’s current safety regulations do not meet our standards for safe operations, so we hired a Safety Officer to create the best-in-industry safety program available for movers

  • We provide mandated training for adverse weather, dangerous driving, pre-trip checks, & more

  • We actively train and coach our team to keep their knowledge of our safety protocols up to date

  • Our team works in a safe, secure, inclusive space

  • The community organizations we work with feel secure in using our services for all needs, especially for highly sensitive moves.

  • We help the most vulnerable members of our community stay safe by moving their belongings to their new homes when they transition out of dangerous situations.

Care

We act with care toward our coworkers, customers, and community.

Some of the ways we show up with care:

  • We support our team’s professional and personal development, we hold town halls and regular quarterly IDPs, and coworkers treat each other with respect and kindness.

  • Our Move Coordinators respond to all inquiries in a timely, friendly, and informative manner.

  • During the move, our customers know that they, and their belongings, are in safe hands with our movers. After the activity, we follow up to ensure the customer's experience was positive; we encourage feedback and are ready to assist with any after-service issue.

  • We care about the communities where we live and operate: We recognize that businesses have a social responsibility to give back to the communities that support them.

Growth

We’re committed to constant growth to continue to improve our customer experience, grow our market share, increase our community giving programs, and support our team’s development. How we honour our growth commitment:

  • As we grow, so make our community giving and engagement efforts.

  • We are passionate about growing our market share in local, long-distance, and home delivery services.

  • We are open to coaching, feedback, and mentorship. We continually look inward and challenge ourselves to grow and develop our skills.

  • Every quarter, we are open and honest with our direct leader in creating an individual development plan (IDP). We self-evaluate our performance and alignment with the company vision and values and set goals for the upcoming quarter.

Efficiency

We’re constantly optimizing our processes to save time and energy, allowing us to focus on our growth and maximize our team's hard work. How we focus on maintaining and improving efficiency:

  • Mindset matters—we don’t think in terms of labour but talent.

  • Our critical financial, service and safety metrics are openly communicated and allow for friendly competition with other leaders and branches for efficiency and team pride each quarter.

  • We set goals and assign projects at the beginning of each quarter, and we hold ourselves and our coworkers accountable to the agreed-upon deadlines.
